The 2014 Sequoyah Hills HOA block party was definitely a success. The Board would like to thank everyone who came out today to meet your neighbors and for your continued support in making this a great community to live. We especially would like to thank Chris Quan for hosting the event in front of her home. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
We would also like to thank the members of Oakland Firehouse Station #21 who brought out their engines and entertained kids and adults alike.

- Tents set up for a neighborhood BBQ.

- The staff from Home of Chicken & Waffles prepared an excellent buffet of chicken, salad, red beans & rice, mac & cheese and many other items. It was delicious!!

- A fabulous caramel cake was served at the BBQ.

- The SHHOA events generally have fantastic info from around Oakland, CORE programs, safety and other community events.

- One of the SHHOA Baord Members, Jeff Morelli, hard at work making sure there is up to date CORE info for the neighborhood.

- Fire hats were not just for the kids!

- Taking a break in the shade. Great day and activities for everyone.

- Cinder Rabbit stole the show later on when her Mom came by to introduce her around. Even bunnies need to be social!
